Terms of Trade

Plain English, both directions. How ordering, payment, delivery and returns work at Runway.

Pricing and quotes

Website prices are our standard list rates, shown ex GST with an inc-GST view available. They are consistent — we do not move prices day to day or depending on who is at the counter. Trade account holders receive their own account pricing on invoice, which may differ from website rates. Written quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. The price confirmed on your order confirmation or invoice is the price that applies.

Orders and confirmation

Online, text, WhatsApp and email orders are requests until confirmed by our team. We confirm every order by reply during business hours (Mon–Thu 5:30am–3:30pm, Fri 5:30am–2:30pm). If an item is unavailable or a price has changed, we will tell you before processing — no surprises.

Payment terms

Customers without a trade account: payment is required before or on delivery/collection (card, EFTPOS, or bank transfer) — goods are not released on credit. Trade account customers: credit terms (typically 30 days) are confirmed in writing on approval of your credit application, and those approved terms are the ones that apply to your account. A 1.2% surcharge applies to credit card transactions. Overdue accounts may be placed on hold until brought current.

Delivery

Order by 12pm for same-day delivery on the Sunshine Coast (Caloundra to Noosa, inland to the hinterland); free for trade account holders. Outside the Sunshine Coast we deliver Australia-wide by courier — freight is quoted and confirmed with your order before it is processed. Delivery times are estimates given in good faith; someone should be available to receive goods at site or yard. Risk in the goods passes on delivery; if no one is on site and you have authorised us to leave goods, they are left at your risk.

Returns

Standard stock items may be returned within 14 days for a full refund or credit — no restocking fee. Returns must be accompanied by your invoice or order confirmation, and goods must be unused, undamaged, in original packaging and in resaleable condition. Custom-ordered, specially procured, and cut-to-length products are non-returnable. Faulty or incorrectly supplied goods are made right at our cost — bring them back and we will sort it on the spot.

Product information and selection

We take product selection seriously — corrosion class, galvanic compatibility, and application guidance are based on the information you give us and the relevant Australian Standards (including AS 3566). Final responsibility for confirming a product suits the specific application, site conditions, and project specification rests with the purchaser and their certifier. Specification documentation is available on request.

Title in goods

Ownership of goods does not pass to the customer until they are paid for in full. Until then, goods are held on the terms of this clause and we may require their return if payment is not made when due. This does not affect risk, which passes on delivery.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Our returns policy sits alongside — not instead of — your statutory rights.
